Privacy

DuskPage does its work on your device. It collects no browsing history and no page content, and it has no account, analytics, ads or tracking.

Website content

DuskPage’s Safari extension reads each page’s styling and visible content so it can choose readable colors. It needs access to the websites you visit because Safari requires that access for an extension to change a page. You can remove that access at any time in Safari’s settings. Nothing it reads is sent to me.

To read a page’s colors correctly, DuskPage may ask for a second copy of some of that page’s own pictures, drawings, style sheets and videos. Each request goes only to the website that already serves the file. None of it reaches me.

Your choices and your purchase

Your settings and your choices for each website are saved on your device. DuskPage checks your purchase with Apple and saves the result on your device. It has no login and no subscription.

Page reports

“Report this page” copies a short report with the page’s address and shows where to send it, support@duskpage.app. It can also open your own email app with the report filled in. Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself. An email you send is handled as a support request. If you want it deleted, ask me and I will delete it.

This website

duskpage.app is a static website. It uses no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. A web host serves these pages and sees normal connection details.
